Transcription

To Elsie with all good wishes Ivy.

Commentary

A very brief card from Elsie’s sister Ivy. If it is for the occasion of Elsie’s Birthday then it is sent in December though the year is unknown.

The Rotary Photographic Company was established around 1899 and closed between 1916 and 1921 when they merged with several other companies. With the use of the rotary presses for printing, the Rotary Photographic Company introduced mass produced real photograph postcards to England.
